Since Steve Jobs passed away at the beginning of November (2011), there have been hundreds of articles circulating online about him. But what about Tim Cook, Apple’s successor? I thought it would be worthwhile to post a few interesting facts about Tim Cook.

Tim grew up near a town called Mobile. How ironic is that? Tim Cook was born Nov. 1, 1960 meaning that he celebrated his 51st birthday just shortly after the announcement of the iPhone 4S and Steve Jobs’ passing. He is a fitness fanatic that tends to rise at 4:30 in the morning – ouch!
Leadership Style
Tim is known for being a leader that encourages collaboration. He is also known for being more level headed than Steve Jobs. It is rumoured that he has been tending to administrative tasks over the last few months increasing salaries for some of Apple’s most dedicated employees.
Salary
And here’s a wing-dinger…according to businessweek.com, Tim Cook earns an annual salary of $800,000 plus bonuses of 5 million per year!
